Job Title: Aircraft Assembler

Job Description

Responsible for the evaluation, diagnosing, and repair of aircraft components including basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems. The main focus will be the oxygen system shop, dealing with gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags of the system. Utilize diagnostic tools to determine issues and plan repairs accordingly. Computer proficiency is needed for data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Evaluate, diagnose, and repair aircraft components.

+ Focus on basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems.

+ Work primarily with oxygen system components including gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags.

+ Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.

+ Enter data into computer systems as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of mechanical experience.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to pass a safety-sensitive drug test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in aviation is a plus.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with minimal overtime required. The work environment is very clean and climate-controlled, offering a dedicated workbench and providing work uniforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
