Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team at our DeWitt, IA facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful and established manufacturing environment that emphasizes safety and customer service excellence. As an Equipment Assembler, you will be provided with training and ongoing development, working within a team to uphold high housekeeping standards and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
+ Read basic blueprints and build components to specifications.
+ Produce components by assembling parts using hand tools.
+ Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products.
+ Monitor inventory using the kanban system.
+ Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
+ Recommend safety improvements when necessary.
+ Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools, daily.
+ Promote and adhere to all Safety and ISO guidelines and procedures.
+ Perform various other duties as required.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, particularly in small mechanical assemblies.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints for small assemblies.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ Manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
