    Job Title: Packaging Associate

    Job Description

    As a Packaging Associate, you will lead production personnel in their daily tasks and ensure smooth operation in all activities required for shipment, including ship station and inventory updates. You will strive to maintain an organized workspace and may be responsible for dropping off FedEx and UPS shipments after daily pick-up. Your role will also involve assisting with supply purchases for production and addressing shortages by informing the team. Additionally, you will handle customer service issues with suppliers.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead production personnel in daily tasks.

    + Oversee shipment activities, including ship station and inventory updates.

    + Maintain an organized work area.

    + Drop off FedEx and UPS shipments as needed.

    + Assist in purchasing production supplies and report shortages.

    + Handle customer service issues with suppliers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in shipping and receiving.

    + General production knowledge.

    + Proficiency in computer operation.

    + Experience with UPS and USPS shipping.

    + Ability to work on shop floor and pick and fill orders.

    + Proficiency in spreadsheet use.

    + Ability to assemble finished goods, including assembly, labeling, packing, and picking.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Good communication skills.

    + Proficient computer skills.

    + Fluent in email communication with customers and associates.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilson, North Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
