    Job Details

    Responsibilities:

    + Must be able to make decisions and use judgment regarding selection of equipment and best technique in process of productions of radiographs

    + Must be able to evaluate patient's condition in order to assist in emergency treatment

    + Assessment and patient care responsibilities are delivered with knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to the ages of the patients served

    + Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for good high-quality images

    + Assists physician during fluoroscopy procedures and practices sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination when necessary

    + Performs various types of radiographs from all areas within the hospital, i.e., OR, ER, portables, EP Lab, outpatient/inpatient

    Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology

    + ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required

    + BLS required. American Heart Association accepted only

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $41.26 - USD $46.85 /Hr.
