    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Warehouse Worker with an initial 90-day contract through a staffing agency, followed by an opportunity to become part of a Union. You will be working Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts required.

     

    Shift & Pay

     

    2nd Shift - $18/HR

     

    3rd shift - $18/HR

    Responsibilities

    + Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials to and from machines.

    + Drive forklifts in tight quarters.

    + Build crates using tools as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating sit-down forklifts.

    + Proficiency in computer use.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Willingness to work occasional Saturdays.

    + Must wear steel-toed boots.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is very loud and requires employees to be safety conscious while handling heavy and sharp metal materials. The facility is not temperature controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees must wear steel-toed boots and jeans or pants without holes. Long sleeve or short sleeve T-shirts are acceptable. The company produces filters, fences, gratings, and other metal products. After 90 days, employees will have the opportunity to join the Union. Shifts are available on both the North and South Lines.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.75/hr.
