Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Building and Maintenance Technician in an industrial metal manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing metal manufacturing machines. Your expertise will ensure the proper functionality of the facility, addressing minor repairs, and identifying and resolving issues with building systems.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventative maintenance on metal manufacturing machines.
+ Troubleshoot and repair building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
+ Address minor repairs such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware.
+ Conduct tasks like lubricating parts, inspecting components, and ensuring proper functionality.
+ Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other electrical components.
+ Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to assess crane condition and identify problems.
+ Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
+ Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair work.
+ Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure all work is performed safely.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.
+ Experience with motors, heavy equipment, machine maintenance, and crane service.
+ Knowledge of wiring, electrical systems, and lubrication techniques.
+ Ability to operate boom lifts, repair sprockets and chains.
+ Three months of training on 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm, then transition to 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in crane mechanic and facilities mechanic roles.
+ Ability to perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues.
+ Capability to work both in a shop setting and in the field.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Carson, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
