Job Title: MIG Welder: Minneapolis, MN : Up to $30 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, where you will be responsible for horizontal and vertical welding on a variety of materials, primarily aluminum, with some steel and stainless steel. Your work will range from 18-gauge to 3/8" welds, and you'll occasionally perform TIG welding as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform horizontal and vertical MIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel materials.

+ Conduct welding using .360 wire, 4043 wire, 5356 wire, and occasionally .035 wire.

+ Inspect own welds using visual methods and ensure some welds are certified.

+ Collaborate with a team of 4-5 other welders on shift.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of welding experience, either from school or on-the-job.

+ Ability to read weld blueprints and symbols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3+ years of welding experience (preferred).

Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility, established in 1948, specializes in producing building products. The facility is large, with assembly, warehouse, and fabrication areas, and promotes a team-first culture. Each welder has their own designated welding bay, and welding equipment is provided, excluding helmets. Smoking is prohibited on the premises. The work involves production-style tasks to manufacture items such as access doors, entrance grates, and more.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.05 - $24.05/hr.
