    About the Role

    Unity House is seeking a compassionate and driven Human Trafficking Liaison to join our Domestic Violence Services team. In this critical role, you’ll provide direct support to survivors of sex and labor trafficking, often at the intersection of domestic violence. You'll connect clients to services, foster community relationships, and lead awareness initiatives—all with a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach.

    What You’ll Do

    + Manage day-to-day operations of our Human Trafficking Program.

    + Provide intensive case management and crisis support to survivors.

    + Provide holistic, trauma informed and culturally sensitive case management services.

    + Act as a liaison between victims, providers and community members.

    + Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and community members.

    + Organize and facilitate community outreach, training, and education.

    + Plan and coordinate events that raise awareness and promote advocacy.

    + Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all clients and staff.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Education & Experience (one of the following required):

    + Bachelor’s Degree + 3+ years of related experience

    + Associate’s Degree + 4+ years of related experience

    + High School Diploma + 5+ years of related experience

    (Proof of education required)

    + Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation

    + Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices

    + Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
