    SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:The Kettle/Volunteer Coordinator is to manage the annual Salvation Army kettle effort, including, but not limited to, hiring kettle workers, completing the corresponding paperwork, scheduling and transporting kettle workers, and coordinate effort with the Corps Officer.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Secure kettle locations• Secure volunteers and groups to stand kettles and handling all correspondence with them• Scheduling all kettle workers and supervise same• Advertising, interviewing, and hiring kettle workers as needed• Handling all paperwork for hiring and payrolls• Picking up and dropping off kettle workers as needed• Securing kettles at night• Scheduling and working with volunteers who count the kettles• Making bank deposits on a daily basis• Assist Corps Officer as needed

    Qualifications

    SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:• Must be a self-starter and work well independently• Must be trustworthy and reliable• Must relate and respond well to volunteers, other employees, and management• Must have a valid driver’s license
