Job Title: Patient Services Specialist

Placement Type: Contract-to-Hire (5 Months)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Shift Schedule:

+ Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (late night)

+ Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

+ Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (late night)

+ Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

+ Note: Shifts are subject to change, but candidates must be available for the two late nights. Total hours will average 40 per week.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join a busy outpatient practice in Doylestown, PA. This front desk role is vital to ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients. If you have a passion for healthcare and customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Warmly greet patients with eye contact, a smile, and a positive attitude

+ Assist new patients with registration paperwork and answer any questions

+ Perform patient registration and verify insurance authorizations

+ Collect co-pays and manage patient demographics

+ Deliver excellent customer service both in person and over the phone

+ Maintain a professional and organized front desk environment

Must-Have Skills:

+ Medical or Healthcare experience

+ Front Desk or Customer Service experience (1+ year required)

+ Strong multitasking and workload management skills

+ Excellent communication and computer skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

+ Experience with EMR systems

+ Knowledge of insurance verification and copay collection

+ Familiarity with patient demographics and scheduling

Work Environment:

+ Fast-paced outpatient office

+ Collaborative and supportive team

+ Opportunity to grow into a permanent role

Why This Role is Open:

This position is available due to staffing shortages and increased patient volume.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
