    We are seeking a dedicated Data Operator to join our team in an office-based setting. This individual will utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel daily, handle incoming phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate departments or internal employees. The role also involves adding service tickets and working with multiple monitors in a central station for incoming calls. This position operates on a 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for daily operations.

    + Field and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments such as police, ER, or internal staff.

    + Add service tickets as required.

    + Monitor and respond to incoming calls in a central station environment.

    + Complete a six-week training program with the manager before transitioning to a strict schedule.

    Essential Skills

    + Data entry experience within the past 2 years.

    + Customer service experience within the past 2 years.

    + Moderate knowledge of Excel, including basic SUMIFS formulas.

    + Experience in a clerical role within the past 2 years.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Experience with phone systems and monitoring incoming security signals.

    + Strong typing and order entry skills.

    + Dependability and reliability are crucial as previous employees have left unexpectedly.

    Work Environment

    This role offers a casual work environment for the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, where employees can dress casually in jeans and a shirt. The work environment is UL certified, requiring two people on site at all times. Employees can expect to work weekends but will always have two consecutive days off. Additionally, they will enjoy a four-day weekend once a month. Comprehensive benefits are provided upon conversion, alongside competitive pay and annual salary reviews.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, Indiana.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
