**Pay rate:** $26/hr.
**Location:** Bourbon County, Kentucky
**Job type** : 6-month contract- hire
Responsibilities
+ Provide first-line support for PC, network, and server hardware/software, including Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office, Active Directory, and various end-user applications.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; escalate complex problems to senior staff or management.
+ Support desktop imaging (MDT), application deployment (Landesk), and configuration of Cisco network hardware and facility cabling.
+ Set up, deploy, and maintain mobile devices and warehouse technologies (e.g., printers, RF units, terminals).
+ Monitor on-site IS systems including backups, UPS devices, and server/network equipment.
+ Deliver remote support to associates and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and effective issue resolution.
+ Collaborate with external vendors to obtain support, replacement parts, or services.
+ Conduct end-user training sessions and support onboarding with system and tool education.
+ Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage electronic waste responsibly.
+ Contribute to technology planning, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
+ Document procedures and maintain accurate technical records.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
+ Associate degree or technical school certification preferred.
+ 1–2 years of experience providing IT or IS support in a professional environment.
+ Proficient in troubleshooting Windows-based systems, networking issues, and common software platforms.
+ Familiarity with Lotus Notes, Landesk, MDT imaging, and remote desktop technologies.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority support requests.
+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% (domestically and internationally).
+ Physically able to lift to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
