    Job Title: Entry-Level Service Technician

     

    Pay Rate: $19 to $21 per hour (based on experience)

     

    Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

     

    Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday

    Overview:

    We are seeking an Entry-Level Service Technician to assist in maintaining, repairing, and calibrating laboratory equipment. This role is ideal for someone mechanically or electronically inclined who is looking to gain hands-on industry experience. Full training is provided.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments

    + Support senior technicians with diagnostics and part replacements

    + Use basic tools and electronic testing equipment, such as multimeters

    + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for documentation and testing

    + Provide email and phone support for technical issues

    + Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety standards

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or associate degree preferred

    + Interest in electronics, mechanical systems, or lab equipment

    + Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

    + Willingness to learn and work in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

    + Hands-on experience or coursework in electronics or lab tech

    + Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, or equipment repair

    + Familiarity with basic test equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, or multimeters
