Join our Strategic Data Provisioning team to drive data-driven growth through scalable, high-quality data architecture and governance. In this role, you'll design and implement strategic data products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust data controls and lineage. You'll support regulatory and analytics needs-including AI-by delivering trusted, fit-for-purpose data solutions, fostering innovation, and providing technical leadership in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Job summary:
As the Principal Data Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Strategic Data Provisioning team, you will be passionate about enabling data-driven growth through scalable, high-quality data architecture and governance. You will apply your expertise to all aspects of the data provisioning lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders across business, technology, and control functions to deliver trusted, fit-for-purpose data products. We foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, encouraging creative solutions that support both regulatory requirements and advanced analytics, including AI.
Job responsibilities:
+ Lead the design and implementation of strategic data provisioning solutions
+ Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify data needs and align data products to use cases
+ Develop and maintain scalable data governance frameworks and controls
+ Map and normalize data requirements across multiple use cases and domains
+ Ensure consistent, accurate, and fit-for-purpose data provisioning for risk, regulatory, and business reporting
+ Establish and maintain data lineage to support business processes, controls, and regulatory needs
+ Drive the development and enhancement of reusable data products, including gap analysis and backlog prioritization
+ Enable AI and analytics capabilities by ensuring high-quality, trusted data is available for advanced use cases
+ Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to other team members
+ Build prototypes and demonstrate solutions to business partners and senior leaders
+ Monitor and enhance data provisioning processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
+ Formal training or certification on Data Architecture or Data Engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
+ Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
+ Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.
+ Experience in designing and building strategic data products and provisioning solutions
+ Deep understanding of data management phases: data capture, storage, distribution, and use
+ Expertise in implementing effective data controls and data lineage across complex environments
+ Experience normalizing data needs to common data models for scalable development
+ Knowledge of risk and regulatory reporting requirements and associated data controls
+ Familiarity with AI enablement and analytics use cases
+ Strong collaboration skills, working with business, control, technology, and data users
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
