Short Description
Oversee daily operations of the production department to meet performance requirements. Assign daily work schedules, oversee productivity, coach, mentor, and provide training and development for up to 15 production employees. Provide continuous improvement leadership to drive sustained improvement in Safety, Quality and Service. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility. Initiate maintenance work orders, as required. Develop, implement, improve and audit SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure optimum repeatability and sustainability.
Description
40% - Perform audits of various processes within the operation (Online 90%, Offline 10%) Learn and understand SAP, databases and other processes in your work center Perform and document audits of the line performance, employee performance, quality, safety, LEAN, etc. Execute corrective actions when necessary
30% - Aid and verify equipment performance in setup, cleaning and operation (Online 90%, Offline 10%) Learn and understand the cleaning, setup and operation of the equipment in your work center Assist in operation and validation of the equipment cleaning, setup and operation Execute corrective actions when necessary
30% - Coach Employees (Online 80%, Offline 20%) Provide training and coaching to ensure direct labor personnel are familiar and competent in their role Provide work assignments, goal times and tools necessary to perform their jobs effectively Give continuous feedback of expectations and job performance Document any necessary information related to performance or other employee related issues

Qualifications
Two years college / technical or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of Experience
Effective communication and leadership skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proficient computer skills
