The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office seeks attorneys dedicated to public service, public safety, and fairness and justice for all who come into contact with the criminal justice system. The Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Deputy Prosecutor is dedicated solely to the comprehensive disposition (from screening through sentencing) of all juvenile domestic violence and sexual assault cases where intimate or dating partner violence is the driving force behind the violence. This includes acts of physical violence as well as threats, property destruction and the use of technology. The Deputy Prosecutor will also give presentations to school aged youth and community organizations.

    Agency Summary

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office is the largest Prosecutor’s Office in the State of Indiana. The Trial Court Division prosecutes more than 29,000 cases annually and prosecutes more than 1 in 4 jury trials in the State. The Office hires the most talented litigators and devoted public servants from diverse backgrounds who desire to speak on behalf of those who would not otherwise have a voice.

Equal Employment Opportunity It is the policy of the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office to provide equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants for employment. • Develop a database for tracking details and dispositions.

    • Work with law enforcement, juvenile probation, court and other community partners to identify appropriate offender resources on a case by case basis.

    • Conduct educational sessions to law enforcement officers, school aged youth, and members of community organizations.
