    Newfane School District is seeking a full time ENL teacher to direct and integrate ENL instruction aligned withNYS Next Generation Learning Standards and NYS English as a New Language standards.

     

    - Design and implement engaging lessons that build language profi ciency and academic vocabulary.

     

    - Collaborate with classroom teachers to support ELLs in content area instruction.

     

    - Assess students' English language proficiency and academic progress using state-approved assessments.

     

    - Maintain required documentation, including NYSITELL/NYSAA/NYS ELL tracking and student progress reports.

     

    - Participate in student support meetings and family engagement activities, providing interpretation or translation as appropriate.

     

    - Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that values students' cultural and linguistic diversity.

     

    - Attend professional development related to ENL, language acquisition, and culturally responsive teaching.
