The successful candidate will be responsible for executing direct procurement operations activities, ensuring alignment with category management strategies. Sourcing Manager - Diagnostics Direct Procurement Responsibilities: * Focus on supplier management, escalations, master data management, cost savings, and continuous improvement. * Develop and implement a negotiation plan/strategy. May need assistance in leading complex or challenging negotiations. Sourcing Manager - Diagnostics Direct Procurement Qualifications: * 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, basic contracting, business enterprise systems, and spot buying. * Bachelor's degree (Business-related). * Post-degree business qualification is preferred. * Experience or demonstrated understanding in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs. * Experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies, as well as experience in Life Science, is a plus. * Experience with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay tools, and eSourcing tools is desired. * Experience in a regulated environment, lab chemicals, medical and clinical supplies, or a related area is preferred. * Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data to drive decisions. * Identify risks to support statements or hypotheses. * Understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer service in mind. * Basic level of proficiency in business enterprise tools and understanding of the end-to-end procurement process. #PP
