Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | Tempe, AZ | Oct 2025–May 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in Tempe, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025 and runs through May 2026, offering $50/hour for 40 hours per week.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Tempe, AZ

+ Start Date: October 20, 2025

+ End Date: May 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

+ Hours/Week: 40

+ Modality: Resource, Special Education Teacher

+ Interview Type: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $50/hour

Caseload Details:

+ Grade Level: 3rd–5th or 6th–8th (pending assignment)

+ Classroom Type: General, Inclusion, or Self-Contained

+ Caseload Type: Co-teaching model

+ Classroom Support: Paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

+ Provide quality services to K–12 special education students

+ Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

+ Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaborate with general education staff

+ Maintain compliance with professional standards and documentation requirements

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

+ Valid Arizona teaching certificate

+ LBS1 endorsement preferred

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Must be fully certified and available for in-person work
