Under clinical supervision, assists in the delivery of patient care and treatment according to policies and procedures and Logan Health MAU/UAP scope of practice. Provides administrative support and works collaboratively with Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, RNs, LPNs and other department staff to meet the physical, psychosocial, education and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

Your Role in Action
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our clinical team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient experiences. You will:
+ Prepare and assist patients for exams, procedures, and minor surgeries.
+ Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories, vital signs, and documentation.
+ Support providers with in-office procedures such as catheterizations, bladder scans, and uroflow testing.
+ Manage rooming, scheduling, and patient flow to ensure efficiency and exceptional service.
+ Handle electronic charting, documentation, and follow-up communications.
+ Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure readiness for high-quality patient care.
What You Bring
+ Graduate of a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant program.
+ Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
+ Prior experience in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting a plus — especially urology, surgery, or internal medicine.
+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
+ A compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to high-quality care.

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
