    ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

    We are looking to hire an **Account Executive** for our Westminster Colorado location. As an Account Executive, you will generate new business and grow existing accounts across all Loe-voltage groups including Structured Cabling, Security Integration and Audio/Visual, to include service, installation and engineered solutions for new and existing customers. You will develop new client relationships and strengthen key account relationships to increase market share and sales opportunities.

    Essential duties:

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the low-voltage industry, including general contractors, engineers, and end-users

    + Provide Profession sales information and consultation to Mears customers while growing new customer relationships within the structured cabling, security integration and audio/visual products and services

    + Strengthen existing customer partnerships within commercial accounts

    + Cultivate new leads through referrals, company provided leads, networking group and cold calling

    + Conduct 3–5 weekly meetings with clients and prospects to identify upcoming opportunities in security, voice/data, and audio-visual systems

    + Promote and cross sell products and services

    + Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for Colorado and Wyoming to grow design-build and enterprise service opportunities

    + Partner with manufacturers, distributors, and technology integrators to broaden available solutions and ensure compatibility across systems

    + Participate in pre-construction meetings to review scope, identify integration needs, and provide value-engineering recommendations

    + Collaborate with internal project management and engineering teams to define system designs, device counts, and network integration requirements

    + Create detailed proposals, bills of materials, and conceptual layouts following company and industry standards

    + Assist clients during design development with budgeting, specification review, and technology standardization

    + Review and interpret construction documents to ensure accuracy in device placement, conduit pathways, and cabling requirements

    + Deliver comprehensive turnover packages including device schedules, IP addressing, and headend documentation to operations after award

    + Provide system sequences of operation, functional narratives, and wiring diagrams to support installation teams

    + Maintain accurate opportunity tracking within CRM software, generate sales forecasts, and provide management reporting

    + Support field and operations staff by clarifying technical requirements and assisting with change order pricing

    + Stay current on emerging technologies and trends within low-voltage security, structured cabling, and audio-visual control systems

    + Actively participate in professional associations such as BICSI, AVIXA, and ASIS to maintain industry engagement

    + Attend training and certification programs offered by vendor partners to remain current with supported product lines

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Key Qualifications

    + 5+ years of sales experience in low-voltage industry

    + including security, voice/data, and audio-visual systems

    + Proven success developing both construction-based and enterprise account relationships.

    + Deep understanding of structured cabling, system design principles, and IP-based system integration.

    + Ability to identify and secure design-build and plan-spec project opportunities.

    + Proficiency with estimating tools, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of leading technical and business discussions with clients and project partners.

    + Technical and persuasive writing skills

    + Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, TIA/EIA, and AVIXA.

    + Experience collaborating with contractors, engineers, consultants, and end-users on integrated technology solutions.

    + Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized, with a strong drive to expand market presence in low-voltage integration.

    + The physical activity for this role includes

    + Travel as needed for client presentations and events

    + Sitting, walking, standing for extended periods in an office environment

    + lifting, bending, reaching, and other repetitive motions related to indoor office work

    + manual dexterity in the use of computers and other equipment

    + Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
