    What We Need:

    We’re looking for a production juggernaut: someone who’s comfortable listening to a ton of tape and stitching the gems together into cohesive and addictive shows. This job is super hands on, under the guidance of an Executive Producer -- you’ll manage hosts, shape stories, book guests, prep and outsource research, as well as edit and master everything into sparkling audio. Both in the studio and in the field, you’ll often take the first pass at shaping the story as an engineer, then own the post- production where your editing and sound design skills will truly shine. We’re a small, editorial-first team in a large company, which means exciting work—and a lot of it.

     

    A typical week will include working on a number of shows in various stages of production. You should be detail- oriented, deadline-driven, growth-minded, and comfortable working in both a team and independently. You’ll have an eye for finding a compelling angle for any given subject, and an ability to tell a story both conversationally and creatively. An inclination to roll up your sleeves and solve problems—doing whatever is needed to get the job done—is essential.

    What You'll Do:

    + Generate original ideas and share with hosts and senior leaders on the podcast team

    + Coordinate and assist with scheduling guests for hosts

    + Ability to work with top-flight talent and marquee celebrities

    + Produce content from internal and external sources

    + Assist the podcast host with recording of voiced commercial campaigns

    + Edit, insert talent-voiced commercials and upload on-demand/podcasts

    + Create and produce promos for multiple podcast episodes

    + Upload audio

    + Ability to tailor, adapt and edit content for podcast/social media

    + Records, edits and contributes to development of content for podcasts

    + Possesses recording expertise in both studio and field environments

    + Collaborates with hosts and other vertical teams to achieve the highest standard of assets and deliverables for the company

    What You'll Need:

    + Experience with development, production and execution of comedic content (Preferred)

    + Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

    + Four years professional podcasting or audio production experience Skills in Adobe Audition

    + Experience with posting audio, text and graphics to website Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task

    + Ability to meet deadlines

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    + Tolerance for stress and tight timelines, including ability to work under pressure

    + Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision

    + Problem solving skills within established procedures

    + Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems

    Compensation:

    Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
