Overview of job:
Join our team as the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Specialist within our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) function, and play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of the Electronic Systems Sector s operations across 65 sites in 22 states. Essential Functions are:
+ Strong project management skills (project scope definition and planning, through delivery) and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, to deliver on time and on/under budget
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and interact with all levels within an organization, remotely and in person, as well as external recovery service providers and public emergency responders
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing day-to-day tasks and priorities effectively
+ Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and emergency events while maintaining a steady, solutions-focused approach.
+ Full knowledge of Business Continuity Management principles, standards, practices, and their methods of implementation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Support the development and execution of a comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) program framework compliant with internal policy requirements through an all-hazards approach.
+ Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments and develop business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and threats, and support site assessments.
+ Develop, maintain, or update BCM plans for the sector and support site plan updates.
+ Identify and support opportunities for resiliency, providing options that positions business continuity as a competitive advantage and long-term investment.
+ Monitor emergencies and events, and coordinate with site leads and management as necessary to minimize business impacts.
+ Design and facilitate tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises tailored to site operations.
+ Capture lessons learned from exercises and incidents, and drive improvements into plans and processes.
+ Deliver customer-focused support to site business continuity coordinators, providing prompt and effective solutions to meet their business continuity needs.
+ Deliver engaging training sessions that make continuity concepts clear and accessible.
+ Track program progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes.
+ Manage collaboration platforms, maintain program documentation, and prepare readiness communications.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to address emerging issues, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and drive continuous improvement in the BCM program.
+ Assist with emergent tasks or projects related to business continuity, safety, or incident response, adapting to evolving risks and business needs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 4-6 year(s) experience in Emergency Management, Disaster Recovery,and Business Continuity Management
+ Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Health and Environment, Emergency Management, or related field.
+ Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, with a strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated capacity for collaborative relationship-building, both internally and externally, with a willingness to innovate and continuously learn.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office/M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Masters Degree in Emergency Management, Safety, Health and Environment, or related field
+ Professional Certification in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Project Management, or Exercises (ABCP, CBCP, PMP, HSEEP, etc.)
+ Experience designing and delivering training and exercises
+ Expertise in developing and implementing emergency response plans, disaster recovery plans, and conducting risk assessments and impact analyses
+ Familiarity with Adobe, Power Automate, or PowerBI a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
