We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior level **RF Test Engineer** with experience in Wireless and RF technologies to join our team. As an RF Test Engineer in this position, the candidate would work with various types of **RF diagnostic and testing tools** to test and debug failures and defects in RF systems and be a Subject Matter Expert within the group.
_In this RF Test Engineer position you will make impacts in the following ways;_
+ Support the testing, measuring, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and RF circuit card assemblies, systems, and sub-assemblies using specialized equipment to analyze signal strength, interference, and other relevant parameters.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment to ensure the ongoing functionality of the equipment.
+ Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation.
+ Monitor Quality data for trends and outliers and report regularly to the team.
+ Generate and implement improvements in test design and develop methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.
+ Create rework plans for test non-conformances.
+ Interface with Engineering, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause. Interface with governmental customers, auditors, and suppliers as required.
+ Identify, Create, and Implement Engineering Change Orders on products as required.
+ Manage capital projects for test equipment.
+ Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel.
+ Support relocation of test equipment between manufacturing sites and lead transition to production.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering
+ 10 or more years of overall engineering and manufacturing experience with 5 years' experience using RF measurement and test equipment such as power meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
+ Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other disciplines/functions.
+ Strong problem solving capabilities and experience using metrics and data to drive actions
+ Proven track record of solving/ troubleshooting complicated production issues and/ or driving yield improvements
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelors Degree and 8-10 years experience using RF measurement and test equipment including power meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
+ to debug to the component level in RF circuit cards
+ to troubleshoot test systems and drive improvements
+ Lean Manufacturing
+ Experience with Circuit card assemblies; Test, Design, troubleshoot
+ Performs preliminary Material Review / Material Review Board (PMR/MRB) for the disposition of discrepant material
+ Statistical Process Control (SPC)
+ Data Collection and Analysis
+ Root Cause and Corrective Action methodology
+ IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
