Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, PE and a Jr. Mechanical Engineer, EIT to join our San Antonio office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil and mechanical projects within the federal sector. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in mechanical systems design, analysis, and implementation, while also demonstrating the versatility to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Perform project design, analysis, and engineering calculations across a range of mechanical and civil engineering disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, field documentation, internal correspondence, and formal submissions under project manager guidance.
• Review design documentation, identify errors, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide upgrade recommendations.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (required for Jr.)
• PE (required for Sr.)
• Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Experience preparing technical studies, reports, and correspondence.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with energy modeling and building performance analysis.
• Ability to develop accurate multi-discipline cost estimates.
• Capability to interpret and apply engineering codes, standards, and regulations. • Revit and ANSYS experience
• Experience with federal and DoD contracts preferred.
• Government Security Clearance (preferred, or ability to obtain).
