• Remote Senior Strategic Test Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Senior Strategic Test Engineer to support a large healthcare client to service and act as a strategic liaison between market technicians and development teams. This role is pivotal in bridging communication gaps, enhancing team performance, and driving organizational success through thoughtful leadership and technical insight.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary liaison between market techs and development teams.

     

    Engage with teams to understand their needs and identify opportunities for improved support and collaboration.

     

    Lead initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and team success.

     

    Evaluate team requirements from a performance testing and engineering perspective.

     

    Identify gaps in processes or understanding and challenge teams to consider critical performance factors.

     

    Provide gradual, strategic support to help teams evolve and succeed.

     

    Occasionally contribute to testing efforts, though the focus remains on strategic leadership.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

     

    5+ years of experience in performance engineering or performance testing.

     

    Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter.

     

    Strong understanding of application architecture, databases, and network protocols.

     

    Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

     

    Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

     

    Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana) for performance analysis.

     

    Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Healthcare Industry Experience
