    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized T&M Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily billing activities and will work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Senior T&M Billing Specialist, you'll spend about 70% of your time on Time & Materials billing, 25% helping Project Managers with cost research and code setup, and catching issues early to resolve them efficiently. The remaining 5% will be spent on various other accounting tasks.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Must be comfortable with commuting to Pleasanton for an on-site role

     

    - Over 5 years of experience in billing or accounting.

     

    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

     

    - A proactive self-starter who can lead initiatives and follow through on commitments. Consistent and reliable attendance.

     

    - Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

     

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

     

    - Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with project managers, customers, colleagues, and executives.

     

    - Experience working directly with field techs, project managers or sales teams to review and confirm billing information if from a manufacturing or construction background

     

    - Experience creating and reviewing PO's and Invoices

     

    - Experience with any accounting software ex: Great plains, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards

     

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

     

    - Familiarity with character-based software, JD Edwards (ERP), or Profitool is a plus.

     

    - A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

     

    - Experience with PDF form filler software.
