Responsibilities
Position Overview
Join our 10-week program in the Research and Development Department, collaborating with a team to engage yourself in the department's initiatives. Engage in diverse projects like process & product development, process capability & optimization, and production startup across BEF's product range. Apply your food processing and food science knowledge to gain valuable experience within the food industry. Work within a cross-functional team environment, contributing to impactful projects that enhance Bob Evans' business and delight consumers. Accountabilities
+ Collaborate closely with business leaders to drive technical and scientific advancements, leveraging both internal and external resources.
+ Integrate business requirements into technical decision-making processes.
+ Engage in hands-on work across laboratory and manufacturing environments.
+ Perform nutritional calculations to support product graphics development.
+ Analyze and assess processing design and data to support project objectives.
+ Effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments and tasks concurrently.
+ Travel to various BEF plants/locations to support project needs.
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.
+ Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.
+ Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.
+ Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality.
