Dell Children’s Foundation is hiring a Director of Development to lead service line fundraising, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors supporting the growth of Dell Children’s Medical Center, specifically within the #10-ranked Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. This is a full-time, on-site position at Dell Children’s Medical Center that requires fundraising experience in a fast-paced clinical setting and complex environment.
As Senior Director of Development, this leadership role will focus on major and principal gifts; responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Dell Children’s donors to the growing heart program, now ranked #10 in the nation, ranging from $100,000 - $10M. This position will be responsible for attaining annual fundraising goals from major and principal gift donors.
This role will be responsible for managing grateful patient and family fundraising within The Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease working collaboratively with both the Foundation and Heart Center clinical teams to meet the wonderful families who desire to give philanthropically to enhance the program.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Foundation's strategies for annual and major giving and/or corporate partnerships.
+ Develop and manage sponsorship plans for significant fundraising initiatives. Develop, implement, and manage plans to negotiate contracts.
+ Develop and steward relationships with current and prospective corporate contributors; including major and/or annual donors.
+ Manage the Foundation's corporate fundraising program within budgeted goals.
+ Develop and manage fundraising operations of assigned projects. Identify, cultivate, and solicit contributions from individuals, corporations, and/or foundations.
Requirements
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Master’s degree preferred.
+ Experience fundraising in a healthcare environment preferred.
+ Service line or CDO fundraising experience preferred.
+ 5+ years of Nonprofit fundraising experience preferred.
