Job Description:

The Library Assistant III provides specialized support to the History of Aviation Archives ( HAC ) within the University Library at The University of Texas at Dallas. This position is responsible for arranging, processing, preserving, and describing archival collections; performing data entry and record maintenance in Microsoft Office and archival content management systems; maintaining organizational and file-naming standards; and responding to reference and digitization requests.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proficiency with computer applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a collaborative academic environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the preservation and accessibility of historically significant materials that support research, teaching, and public engagement. The position reports to the Senior Curator of Aviation Archives and the Dean of Libraries.
