Job Description:
The UT Dallas Office of Institutional Compliance is currently hiring for an Equal Opportunity Specialist/Investigator to join our team. Reporting to the Equal Opportunity Manager for Investigations, the Equal Opportunity Specialist/Investigator will provide institutional compliance assistance, support, investigation, training, and outreach. This position will serve as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
Position Information
+ FLSA Status: Exempt
+ Salary Grade: 13
+ Anticipated Salary Range: $66,500 to $78,000 depending on experience. Note: salary offers higher than $73,500 will require relevant investigation experience.
+ Successful candidates must meet the minimum requirements for education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three years of experience in equal opportunity (e.g., Title VI, Title VII , Title IX, ADA ), human resources, regulatory compliance or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Communication and Interpersonal: Ability to communicate effectively and considerately with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, administrators, third parties, and external agencies; and foster collegiality, build partnerships, and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
+ Organization and Planning: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize, plan, and schedule tasks effectively, ask for assistance when needed, follow procedures, ensure accuracy in documentation and data, correct own errors, and produce consistent and timely professional work.
+ Position Specific: Proficiency with interpreting, applying, and monitoring federal and state regulations and organizational policies; proficiency with writing, summarizing, and analyzing complex information in an understandable and accurate manner; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; ability to organize workflow and coordinate activities; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and willingness to receive feedback and adapt in the pursuit of professional growth.
