Job Description:
The UT Dallas Office of Institutional Compliance is currently hiring for a Youth Protection Program (“YPP”) Compliance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Compliance Support and Youth Protection Program Official, the YPP Compliance Manager will manage the daily responsibilities associated with the development, implementation, and operation of UTD’s Youth Protection Program.
Position Information:
+ FLSA Status: Exempt
+ Salary Grade: 14
+ Anticipated Salary Range: $63,500 to $75,000 depending on qualifications.
+ Successful candidates must meet the minimum requirements for education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of compliance or program management experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Competencies (required knowledge, skills, and abilities):
+ Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data and information, identify patterns and trends, make data-driven decisions, and develop appropriate solutions; and ability to analyze incidents, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions that align with organizational objectives.
+ Communication and Interpersonal: Ability to communicate effectively and considerately in an environment with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, administrators, third parties, and external agencies; and foster collegiality, build partnerships, and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
+ Organization and Planning: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize, plan, and schedule tasks effectively, ask for assistance when needed, follow procedures, ensure accuracy in documentation and data, correct own errors, and produce consistent and timely professional work.
+ Policy Development: Ability to develop, revise, and implement institutional policies and procedures.
+ Position Specific: Ability to lead a team of professionals, manage conflict, and create a positive and inclusive work environment; demonstrated proficiency with interpreting, applying, and monitoring federal and state regulations and organizational policies; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and ability to receive feedback and adapt in the pursuit of professional growth.
