    As a **Security Officer - Petrochemical Access Control** in **Deer Park, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

     

    As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.     Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

    + Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.

    + Observe and report any irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during shifts.

    + Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support emergency response efforts.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
