    Basic Job Functions:

    The Internal Auditor position will be based in the Cincinnati DJJ corporate office. The functions of this role include but are not limited to:

     

    + Performing the internal audit function for Nucor, which is heavily focused on evaluating and auditing Nucors internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Nucor policies

    + Performing audits of areas such as inventories, revenue recognition, accounting procedures, capital expenditures, accruals, etc.

    + The successful candidate should be open to relocation for future growth opportunities

    + This position includes travel, up to 30% of the time

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

    + Prior audit experience with a national public accounting firm

    + No more than 2 years of experience in an internal audit role or relevant accounting experience

     

    Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
