    Summary

    Fleet Sales Account Manager – Outside Sales

     

    Territory: Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersy, Connecticut, and Delaware

     

    We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Fleet Sales Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. This is a key outside sales role responsible for managing a robust book of business and driving growth across a strategic territory.

    What You’ll Do

    • Own the Territory: Manage and grow a portfolio of fleet accounts with over 100 trucks, representing millions in annual revenue.

    • Build Relationships That Matter: Develop trusted partnerships with senior-level decision makers across the trucking industry.

    • Drive Growth: Identify opportunities to expand fuel and truck service sales, aligned with corporate KPIs.

    • Analyze & Strategize: Review fleet performance monthly and tailor solutions that meet evolving customer needs.

    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with credit, customer service, field operations, marketing, and Truck Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

    • Stay Organized & Proactive: Maintain a strong pipeline and customer database in Salesforce.com.

    • Lead Initiatives: Support special projects, site-level audits, and program development based on customer feedback.

    • Solve Problems: Assist with billing, credit, and account transitions to ensure smooth operations.

    • Represent TA: Attend trade shows, industry events, and training seminars to stay ahead of trends and build your network.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably managing multimillion-dollar accounts

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, or a related field

    • Proven success in contract negotiation and strategic account management

    • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

    • Tech-savvy with solid PC skills and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

    • A passion for building relationships and solving customer challenges

    • Preferred: Candidate resides within the assigned territory to ensure proximity to key accounts and maximize relationship-building opportunities

    Pay Range

     

    $100,000.00 - 110,000.00 annually - A pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Not all positions posted will have a pay range listed.
