Logistics/Inventory/Asset Control Administrator
The Contractor shall be capable of performing the tasks &/or possess the skill sets listed below:
Logistics
+ Coordinate and monitor the movement of products, materials, and equipment between sites or to customers.
+ Schedule inbound and outbound shipments to optimize delivery timelines and minimize costs.
+ Ensure compliance with shipping and transportation regulations.
+ Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
+ Maintain accurate documentation for all logistics activities, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
Inventory Control
+ Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
+ Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counts and full audits) and reconcile discrepancies.
+ Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking.
+ Analyze inventory trends and usage patterns to support procurement planning.
+ Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory items.
+ Provide quarterly evaluation of current system warranties and ensure warranties are documented as to when they expire.
Asset Control
+ Track and manage company assets across multiple departments or locations.
+ Assign asset tags, record serial numbers, and maintain a detailed asset register.
+ Conduct regular asset audits to verify the presence, condition, and location of assets.
+ Coordinate asset movements, repairs, transfers, and disposals in compliance with Government guidelines and policy.
General Responsibilities
+ Generate reports when requested on stock levels, asset usage, and logistics KPIs for management review.
+ Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements in logistics and inventory workflows.
+ Ensure workplace safety and proper handling of materials.
+ Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Use Government-furnished asset and inventory management system (Sunflower) to log and track activities.
