    We’re looking for a **Geologist III** to join our **Massachusetts** office and become a key contributor to our growing team.

     

    In this role, your expertise contributes to site development and remediation projects that improve the community's environmental health and resiliency. You'll collaborate with engineers, scientists, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions across a range of environmental and infrastructure projects. You'll work on meaningful projects that drive positive change.

    What You'll Do:

    + Lead drilling oversight, soil and rock sampling, and groundwater monitoring. Conduct field studies and surveys to collect geological samples and data

    + Perform complex data collection, laboratory analysis, and interpretation using geologic and environmental methods. Analyze rock, soil, and mineral samples using various techniques

    + Prepare and review geological maps, cross-sections, and detailed technical reports. Ensure quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of deliverables

    + Assist with preparing regulatory submittals, such as permit applications and plans

    + Oversee several small projects and occasionally lead larger, multidisciplinary ones. Assist in developing project strategy, scope, and budgets

    + Serve as a secondary client contact and support relationship development. Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies

    + Oversee and mentor junior staff, coordinate project team activities, and ensure team safety in the field through Health and Safety Plans (HASP)

    + Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and industry standards. Monitor and assess geological hazards

    • **What You Bring:**

    + Bachelor's degree in Geology or related discipline

    + 4-7 years of applicable experience

    + Proficiency in geological mapping

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    + PG or ability to obtain it, preferred

    + Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting

    + Proficient with MS. Office suite of products

    + 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a plus

    + Previous consulting experience preferred

    Salary Range:

    The starting salary for this position is $75,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
