Job Title: Applications engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will help customers choose and implement automation equipment solutions, providing technical training and support. This position is perfect for someone who excels in both verbal and written communications and is eager to generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

+ Set up appointments with customers to help them select and implement robots and other automation equipment.

+ Provide technical training and support, including product demonstrations and proposal development.

+ Specify complete motion, robot, and vision systems, including system sizing and motor sizing.

+ Utilize creativity and intuition to solve automation problems.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in vision systems.

+ Experience in technical sales and mechanical engineering.

+ Bachelor's degree with a technical emphasis.

+ Engineering or manufacturing experience.

+ Familiarity with servo systems and/or vision systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2 years of applications or engineering experience.

+ 3+ years of mechanical/electrical exposure.

+ 1+ year exposure to motion, robot, or vision systems.

+ 2 years of engineering experience (preferred).

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with a Monday to Friday schedule. It provides an exciting opportunity to grow in a sales role within a supportive and innovative team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
