Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a vital role in designing packaging and material handling equipment, contributing to our consistent business growth and development of new facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop conveyor systems and machine designs.
+ Utilize SolidWorks for 2D drafting and 3D design work.
+ Create and interpret shop and fabrication drawings.
+ Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) for large systems.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with preference for graduates from top ten schools.
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks is highly desirable.
+ Experience in 2D drafting and 3D design.
+ Strong ability to detail large systems.
+ Experience with shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
+ GPA of 3.5 or higher is strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with conveyor systems, packaging, and material handling equipment.
+ Knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
+ Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication.
Work Environment
The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for training and skill development. You will be working in a brand-new facility, although you may initially work out of a trailer until the new building is completed. The role offers flexibility for mobility across different business units and upward growth. Expect a collaborative atmosphere with opportunities for discretionary profit sharing upon permanent employment. The work schedule may include up to five hours of overtime per week when taken on permanently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
