Pay: $16-17 an hour
Adecco is seeking Drilling Machine Operators. The Drilling Operator is responsible for operating drilling machines on the production line to create accurate holes and finishes according to specifications. This role ensures product quality, supports continuous production flow, and adheres to safety standards
Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor drilling machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, or specifications for drilling requirements.
• Measure, mark, and position materials accurately before drilling.
• Inspect drilled parts for quality, precision, and consistency.
• Adjust machine settings and tools as needed to meet production standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of drilling equipment.
• Report malfunctions, safety issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper PPE use.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with 6S standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment.
• Requires standing for long periods (8 to 12-hour shifts), as well as frequent bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, and climbing.
• Regular exposure to repetitive hand and arm movements, vibration, and manual handling of materials and tools.
• Must be comfortable working around loud machinery, moving parts, metal shavings, oil, and grease, and temperature-variable environments (hot/cold).
• Must be able to manually feed materials, remove finished parts, and operate mechanical and hydraulic equipment safely.
• Ability to maintain focus and stamina in a fast-paced production environment.
• You must always wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat)
**Pay Details:** $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
