Job Title: Lean Coordinator
Pay: $27/hr - $29/hr | Weekly
Schedule: M-F | 7:30am - 4pm
Contract: 1 year (likely extending out to an indefinite contract)
Summary: The lean coordinator is an operations support specialist who has practical experience in the facets of the lean production system, process improvement and Lean Tools such as GEMBA Walks and War Room. Superior problem-solving skills in different areas of digitization operations will be required. The lean coordinator identifies, supports and facilitates error reduction, quality improvement, cost-reduction, and a lean culture throughout all functional areas under the guidance of Senior Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with current managers and team members to facilitate a defined strategy of continuous improvement with emphasis on process improvement.
• Own delivery of Red Tag selection, monitoring and discard coordination
• Participate in the design of the Lean Journey roadmap with the Management Team.
• Facilitate adherence to 6S policies and procedures; support running clean and safe operations.
Expectations:
STRATEGIC LEVEL:
• Act in a support role toward waste/error reduction, quality and productivity improvements that tie the continuous improvement program to the overall business performance of the company.
• Assist in root cause analysis of all areas targeted for improvement based on priorities
• Support attainment of operational Safety, Accuracy, and Delivery
• Continuously evaluate the overall effectiveness of the team’s efforts, supporting their ability to sustain for the long term Page
TACTICAL LEVEL:
• Work directly with leads and team associates to improve workflows via regularly scheduled audits
• Ensure that Standard Work / SOPs are being followed.
• Support the use of the Performance and KPI boards to show team’s overall progress, publicize team efforts, and if necessary, ask for help.
• Support and monitor all Continuous Improvement and Corrective / Preventive Action Plans.
• Support and monitor all kaizen newspaper items.
TEAM LEVEL:
• Demonstrate strong support for the team every day, not as a defender but rather leader and driver of results.
• Be a team player and always be professional, promote honesty and enforce accountability with the highest degree of integrity.
• Practice and instill all other Google-Adecco core values.
Qualifications:
• Must be an outgoing person that likes to work with people.
• Exhibits a passion for continuous improvement; must challenge the status-quo.
• Has a proven track record of creating and developing processes.
• Be an implementer of results-oriented improvements in addition to being a coach.
• Possess strong analytical skills and common sense with emphasis on scientific methods of problem solving.
• Strong understanding of assembly and production methods.
• Experience in Kaizen both as a team member and team leader.
• Knowledge of Kanban and other forms of material replenishment.
• Working knowledge of business systems and strong PC skills.

**Pay Details:** $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
