    Are you a Dental Assistant seeking new opportunities in the Duluth, GA area? If so, Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting a local dental organization in their search to add **Dental Assistant** to their team in **Duluth, GA** !

     

    Schedule

     

    Upon hire you will work full-time Monday- Friday, available schedules 8am-4:30pm.

    Pay Rate

    The wage for this position is between $21 and $26. Hourly wage is dependent upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

    Position Overview:

    The Dental Assistant is a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask while assisting with Client oral care. This individual performs basic supportive dental procedures specified by the state dental practice act and by rule of the Georgia Board of Dentistry under the direct supervision of a licensed Dentist.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Help with administrative tasks in the office such as scheduling and record-keeping

    + Prepare and takes X-rays of clients

    + Greet clients upon arrival

    + Teach and advise clients on proper oral hygiene

    + Assist with dental procedures

    + Sterilize equipment and follows proper hygienic protocol

    + Manage the inventory of dental equipment and supplies

    + Assist the Dentist with procedures and charting as necessary.

    + Review the Dentist schedule and helps to maintain patient flow throughout the day.

    + Review the client’s chart prior to Dentist’s arrival and anticipates the Dentist’s needs for each client.

    + Set-up and prepares dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines.

    + Monitor the schedules and help to fill cancellations internally and through re-call.

    + Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain Dentist's schedule and client flow.

    + Clean the client’s room after treatment.

    + Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA laws and guidelines with regards to client’s records.

    + Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Graduate of Dental Assistant Program

    + Valid Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification

    + Current CPR certification

    + Previous experience with Dentrix, preferred

    + Great communication skills (writing, speaking, listening, etc.)

    **Pay Details:** $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
