    Job Title: Laboratory Assistant I (Entry-Level)

    Job Type: Contract - with possibility of going direct

    We’re hiring an entry-level Laboratory Assistant to support a fast-paced clinical lab environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare or science, and offers hands-on experience in specimen processing and lab operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens

    + Perform data entry and assist with pipetting platform tasks

    + Maintain lab equipment and replenish supplies

    + Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP)

    + Document maintenance and quality control activities

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and stand for extended periods

    + Strong communication and basic computer skills

    + Must pass a color blindness test

    Work Environment:

    This role involves handling biological specimens and working overnight shifts (e.g., Tuesday–Saturday, 10 PM–6:30 AM) with shift differential pay. The lab is structured and focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.85 - $21.85/hr.
