    Job Title: Quality Control Engineering Technician

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team focused on the quality assurance of small appliances. You will lead quality projects, establish production standards, and ensure compliance with documentation and quality protocols. This role involves collaboration with various manufacturing groups to address quality issues and ensure the successful completion of product initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage quality projects related to prototype small appliances.

    + Collaborate with manufacturing groups to address parts or dimensional issues impacting quality.

    + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project steps.

    + Monitor, report, and update status of projects, ensuring quality and budget objectives are met.

    + Validate completion of checklist items and ensure project deliverables are achieved.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance processes.

    + Experience in consumer product manufacturing quality assurance or control.

    + Understanding of quality management systems and procedures.

    + Familiarity with basic quality tools and supplier quality principles.

    + Associates Degree in a technical background

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with polyworks, polyworx, and metrology.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Strong capability to work with cross-functional teams.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in the First Build Small Appliance department, collaborating closely with manufacturing groups such as Stamping, Plastics, and Assembly. The work environment involves running quality projects, coordinating with departments like Quality, Advanced Manufacturing, Production, and Engineering. Responsibilities include scanning defective and first-run parts, establishing quality standards, and creating quality testing procedures.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
