Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of composite materials. This position involves hands-on work with composite fabrics, operating machinery, and ensuring quality assurance within a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform hand lay-up of composite materials following blueprints and work instructions.

+ Prepare molds and tools, including applying sealants and positioning composite fabrics accurately.

+ Operate ovens and autoclaves for curing processes.

+ Demold and inspect finished parts for quality assurance.

+ Maintain documentation for material traceability.

+ Follow safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.

+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, hand tool usage, and composite material handling.

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions.

+ Familiarity with machine operation, fabrication, and inspection processes.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while sitting or standing for long periods.

+ Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

+ Adaptability to an ever-changing work area and task variation.

+ Computer proficiency for navigating instructional files.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in intricate and detail-oriented roles such as crafting, barbering, or seam stressing.

+ Reliable transportation to and from work.

+ Ability to pace tasks efficiently throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
