    Job Title: Quality Control Technician

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Technician, ensuring top-tier quality in our Mediterranean food products. Work Monday through Friday from 4 AM to 1:30 PM, playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing product standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure all machinery is clean and operational before manufacturing begins.

    + Conduct pre-operational cleaning, troubleshooting, or maintenance as required.

    + Swab products to ensure they meet quality standards.

    + Collaborate with the production team to collect samples and identify issues.

    + Assist with machine calibration when needed.

    + Conduct inspections using a tablet and complete necessary paperwork.

    + Stand for extended periods during shifts.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of food quality control experience.

    + Proficiency in quality assurance and control processes.

    + Knowledge of GMPs, calibration, and sanitation procedures.

    + English speaking skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.

    + Ability to work with tablets and handle document control.

    + Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

    + Adaptability and a trainable mindset.

    + Experience in food manufacturing QC/QA.

    Work Environment

     

    Work primarily on the production floor where temperatures range from 40-45 degrees and conditions may be wet. The environment may have a spicy aroma due to ingredients used in recipes. Be prepared for office duties as well.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
