Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our client. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and contributing to key financial reporting. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute month-end close processes, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.

• Manage accounts payable operations by entering vendor invoices, generating checks, and processing payments.

• Record daily deposits and ensure timely updates to financial records.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing analysis to support organizational decision-making.

• Coordinate audit preparation by sending and tracking confirmations and liaising between internal teams and external auditors.

• Maintain the general ledger with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Support payroll processing tasks, including managing entries and ensuring compliance.

• Collaborate with the finance team to enhance workflows and improve financial systems.

• Contribute to special projects related to financial operations as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.

• Strong skills in reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
