Job Title: Commercial Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking experienced commercial electricians with at least 5 years of experience at a mechanic level. The role involves working on various commercial projects, including retail stores and apartment complexes.

Responsibilities

+ Make connections, pull wires, install boxes for receptacles, and install lighting.

+ Work proficiently with MC and Romex wiring systems.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints.

+ Perform conduit bending and use hand tools effectively.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in commercial construction settings.

Essential Skills

+ At least 5 years of commercial electrician experience.

+ Proficiency in construction, conduit, troubleshooting, wiring, and installation.

+ Ability to pull wire and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Having a valid electrician's license is preferred but not required.

+ Must have a good driving record as company vehicles are provided.

Work Environment

The work environment requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE such as hard hats, steel-toed or composite boots, gloves, safety vests, and safety glasses. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
