    Job Title: Assembly Lead

    Job Description

    The Assembly Lead position is responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted production flow in the assigned production process. This role involves providing problem support and coaching or on-the-job training to employees to ensure that daily operational goals are met. Additionally, the Assembly Lead will communicate with various support resources to resolve production issues, set up, adjust, maintain, and efficiently operate laser systems. Utilizing computerized manufacturing technologies, the Assembly Lead will guide the initial phase of the fabrication process.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure uninterrupted production flow in assigned production processes.

    + Provide problem support and coaching or on-the-job training to employees.

    + Communicate with various support resources to resolve production issues.

    + Set up, adjust, maintain, and efficiently operate laser systems.

    + Lead and guide the initial phase of the fabrication process using computerized manufacturing technologies.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 to 5 years of production assembly experience.

    + 2+ years of experience as an assembly lead.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word).

    + Experience in assembly processes, testing, and management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.

    Work Environment

     

    Weekend Night Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 pm – 6:30 am. Work in an environment that utilizes advanced manufacturing technologies, supporting lean manufacturing and 5S activities.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, Arizona.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
