Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk specializing in shipping to join our team in Wood Dale, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and accuracy in logistics operations. The role involves managing shipping and receiving activities in a well-organized warehouse environment while ensuring smooth order processing and inventory control.

Responsibilities:

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks with precision and attention to detail to meet operational standards.

• Record and process orders using company systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain organized documentation for all shipping activities, including tracking and reporting.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment deliveries.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for compliance with quality standards.

• Operate in a safe and efficient warehouse environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.

• Utilize technology tools effectively to streamline logistics processes.

• Ensure inventory is properly managed and updated during shipping and receiving operations.

• Address inquiries related to shipping and logistics in a clear and articulate manner. Requirements • Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a logistics or manufacturing setting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in warehouse operations.

• Proficiency in using technology systems for order processing and inventory management.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle shipping inquiries.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.

• Familiarity with safety and security procedures in a warehouse environment.
